To be successful in making an application for a bad credit mortgage you simply have to prove to the lender that you will be able to repay the loan and abide by their terms and conditions while you service that loan.

As time passes by and you are making regular repayments and satisifying the conditions of the loan you can then speak with your lender and ask them to review your interest rate. Often by proving you have a good track record the lender will reduce the interest on your repayments and consider you no longer a bad credit risk but a valued customer.
